The danger is over. You know that. But your nervous system didn’t get the message. You still scan rooms. Still brace. Still feel unsafe in situations where nothing is wrong. The anxiety, the hypervigilance, the difficulty trusting — these aren’t personality traits. They’re survival adaptations that outlived what they were protecting you from.

I left conventional medicine. Here’s why.

I didn’t come to this work from a textbook. I came from survival. After being in foster care and dropping out of high school – I thought becoming a Doctor would reveal the answers of human suffering. But after graduating medical school I saw symptoms being managed without ever even asking why or where the source was.

I left. And I found something that worked — first on myself, then on the people I have helped. Not because it’s mysterious or strange, but because it goes somewhere most approaches don’t: into the part of the mind that runs the patterns before you can think.

That’s what I do. That’s why it’s different. Some call it an alternative to therapy but I call it learning to be human while healing along the way.

Before Your Session

I always start with a phone consultation, free no-pressure, so I can understand what you are dealing with and you can ask anything you need to. This allows us to see if we’re also a good fit, to work together. We’ll schedule your first session rom here. *You don’t need any prior experience with hypnosis I blend my work with other modalities.

During Your Session

You’re awake, aware, and in control the entire time. Usually we start with getting clear on our goals. If it is it is right for you we will then go into a deep relaxed and focused state – similar to the feeling right before you fall asleep – where your subconscious becomes easily accessible. From there, we work together to uncover and resolve what’s been driving the patterns.

After Your Session

Most people feel a noticeable shift after the first session – a sense of lightness, clarity, or emotional relief. I have never had someone leave without some type of change – either it be clarity, hope or direction. Some changes are immediate, others unfold over the days that follow. We’ll check in and adjust as needed. There is no one size fits all.

The Foundation of my work and why most approaches reach only part of your mind.

Think of your mind like an iceberg.

The part above the surface – your conscious mind – handles logic, analysis, and the voice in your head. That’s roughly 10% of your mental activity. It’s where most therapy, self-help, and even willpower operate.

The 90% below the surface is your subconscious. That’s where your emotional memories live, your survival patterns. The beliefs that were formed before you had words for them. The nervous system responses that fire before you can think.

Hypnotherapy is a way to access that 90%.

Not by losing control, instead by gaining access to the part of yourself that’s been running the show without your permission.
