There’s A Pattern You’re Fed Up With Repeating

And whether or not you understand why it keeps happening – there is a way to resolve those automatic, emotional, physical, or behavioral responses…without having to be in therapy for years.

Through individualized hypnotherapy and subconscious-pattern work, I help adults explore what keeps these patterns in place and develop a different way of responding.

You May Know Something Needs To Change But Don’t Know How To Change it

Perhaps your mind knows that you are safe, but your body continues to react with fear or anxiety.

Maybe you recognize a particular pattern in your relationships and don’t want to repeat it with a new person.

You may know what you want to do, but procrastination, perfectionism, self-doubt, or avoidance continues to interfere.

Or perhaps you cannot explain the response at all. You only know that it keeps happening.

You may recognize:

  • Anxiety, fear, or persistent overthinking
  • Physical tension or body-based stress responses
  • People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries
  • Repeating relationship or attachment patterns
  • Fear of rejection, abandonment, or being seen
  • Procrastination, perfectionism, or self-sabotage
  • Difficulty trusting yourself or following through
  • A feeling of being stuck despite considerable self-awareness

The continuation of a pattern does not mean that you are broken or unwilling to change. It may mean that there is a deeper programming operating beyond your conscious  awareness.

Instead of fighting the response, we begin by understand it at the level it lives – The Subconscious.

What Is Hypnotherapy?

what is hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process that uses relaxed, focused attention to help you become more aware of the thoughts, emotions, body sensations, memories, and automatic responses connected with a pattern.

You are not asleep or under someone else’s control. You remain aware, able to speak, and involved throughout the experience.

In this focused state, we can move beyond simply talking about what happens and explore a pattern that you want to reprogram and change. We realize:

  • What may be activating it
  • What it may be trying to accomplish
  • What keeps it in place
  • What a more useful response could feel like and be

More Than Suggestion Alone

My approach is not limited to repeating positive statements or reading a general hypnosis script.

It is more about opening your mind, sort of like a child has in which there is more plyability or neurolasticity – that is what being in an altered state of consciousness (or hypnosis) is about.

Sessions are interactive and individualized. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate focused hypnosis, parts-oriented dialogue, Gestalt techniques, Transactional Analysis concepts, imagery, body awareness, and regression when appropriate.

The Rapid Realization Framework

A realization may begin in the mind, but it becomes more complete when it is also experienced emotionally and registered within the body’s response.

The Rapid Realization Framework is the flexible structure I use to organize individualized hypnotherapy. It helps us explore the emotions, programs or parts, beliefs, and experiences that may be sustaining a pattern—even when they initially feel unclear, blended, or contradictory.

Recognizing the pattern, understanding what it may be trying to accomplish, and seeing the conflict within its current strategy.

Feeling the meaning and cost of the pattern while developing a genuine emotional desire for relief, safety, freedom, connection, or another possibility.

Noticing whether the emotional and physical response begins to register that a different way of responding may be possible.

An unwanted response is not necessarily the enemy. It may be a protective strategy attempting to accomplish something important—such as safety, acceptance, or control—in a way that is no longer helpful.

The goal is not to force that part away. We explore its intention, whether its current strategy is working, and how it might perform its role differently.

Sort of life a light bulb or “aha” moment the Rapid Realization Framework is a process to not just fully realize but understand. You can not change or control something you do not understand – this is the reprogramming.

So what does that look like in a session? Here’s how we work together.

Most approaches to trauma (big or little) start with the story and needing to talk about it. I start somewhere else. You may have already guessed – The body. Because it keeps a record that words don’t always reach. So I work at that level — beneath the narrative, and beneath the version of yourself you’ve learned to present to the world to feel safe.

I listen to what your body is saying, yes through your actual words, but I listen beyond them in a way most cannot grasp. Not because I’m extraordinary. But because I’ve been trained to hear the signals through my own inner work.

Before

We start with a consultation — no pressure, no agenda. Just a chance for me to understand what you’re carrying and for you to ask anything you need to. We’ll know quickly if we’re a good fit. If we are, we’ll schedule your first session from there.

During

A good doctor doesn’t use just one tool. Neither do I. Depending on what your body and mind need that day, we might work through somatic awareness, reflective listening, parts work, or hypnotherapy — or all of this. You’re awake, aware, and in control the entire time. We follow what’s happening in the room.

After

Most people notice a shift after the first meeting. Sometimes it’s immediate — clarity, lightness, a sense of direction. Sometimes it unfolds quietly over the days that follow. Either way we check in, adjust, and keep moving. There is no one size fits all here.

A Perspective Shaped by Medicine, Hypnotherapy, and Lived Experience

I earned my medical degree believing that understanding the human body would help me understand suffering. Later, while helping build behavioral-health operations, I saw how often people received help for symptoms without enough space to understand the person and pattern underneath them.

My own healing eventually led me to hypnotherapy, subconscious-pattern work and body-based awareness. Today, I bring those perspectives together to help people who understand their problem intellectually but still feel controlled by the response beneath it.
